Today we began the day with gym class, snacks morning circle and Language.
In language we reviewed and sang our phonics song for each letter we have learned so far. Then we learned two more letters (name, sound and formation). To practice the letter formation we used the dry erase boards.
In the afternoon I introduced students the Pattern unit. JKs helped me to recognise and read the patterns on the anchor chart. Then we used math manipulatives to create our own pattern.
Next, students had French and the daily five - read to self. I'm putting together a nice cozy reading space in our class. :)
After second recess we had story time, pack up and we started our rehearsals for the Christmas concert. Today was just about listening to the song and making ourselves familiar with the song. :)
