In language arts we sang our phonics song and practiced our reading skills by completing an activity where JKs had to look at the picture and circle one of the two words given.
Then we practiced writing on the dry erase boards.
After lunch and recess we talked about how to help the earth by recycling and composting. Then JKs had an excellent idea for an action, they all agreed to keep the lights of our classroom off tomorrow, we will be using only natural light tomorrow in our class.
Next, JKs had French class and we completed a fun activity where they had to cut and paste different pictures of garbage and categorize them by compost and recycle.
After second recess, we had math centers.
