Happy Monday

Today we began the day with gym class, snacks and morning circle time.
In language arts we looked into the sight word "of". JKs read a poem a together and then they had to circle all the sight word "of" in their poem.
Next we read a book which talked about the "Open Minded" learner profile.
After lunch we had French and played shape bingo.
To finish off the day we had our last reading buddies of the year. Have a great evening everyone and stay in the shade!
*Today we didn't go outside because of the heat alert.

                   Reminders for this week:

-          Tuesday is “Promotion Day” – JKs are asked to wear smart casual and parents are welcome to attend the ceremony at 9am in the auditorium.

-          Wednesday is casual day.

-          Thursday is “Jersey Day” or “Sports Day”

-          Friday is the last day of school. Students are asked to wear their house colors.
