Happy Thursday!
We began our morning with gym class, snacks and morning circle time.
Next, we did the in class spelling bee. Here are the top 3 students: Rohan, Simrin and Omar.
We will be all cheering for you guys on Monday!
Then JKs worked on a little surprise for Mother's Day.
After lunch and recess, we had the daily five -read to someone and read to self.
Then JKs had French class and we continued to work in our Mother's Day surprise.
After second lunch and recess we had centers.
Have a fantastic evening everyone!

Happy Tuesday!
We had a great day!
In the morning JKs attended gym class, then we had a snack and morning circle time.
Next in language arts we worked on our spelling words. JKs copied 6 words from the board and then had to choose one of the words to draw.
While JKs were doing their journals I did the reading assessment. I'm so proud of how well my JKs have progressed in their reading.
After lunch and recess, we practiced our dance for arts night and learned a bit about fish. JKs were intrigued about a baby shark I brought in class.
After second lunch and recess we worked on our writing assessment and started a surprise for Mother's Day.
At the end of the day Mr. Iqbal came to our class to show us an 8 days old chick embryo.

Next, JKs attended the Gr. 6s Exhibition. The only presentation we attended was "Animal Abuse". No worries, Gr.6s didn't show or talk about any scary content.
In the afternoon we played a game where JKs paired up to sort out pictures of longer time and shorter time activities.
Then JKs attended French class.
After second recess we had centers.
Have a great weekend everyone!
